Throughout the year, Tirimbina Rainforest Center offers several short courses focussing on the importance of conservation of our tropical forests. These courses are intended for ecotourism guides, students and anyone interested in learning more about the biodiversity of our forests and the natural history of the organisms inhabiting them.

Some of the themes of our courses are: Birds of Costa Rica (basic), Birds of Costa Rica (advanced), Migratory Birds, Amphibians of Costa Rica, Mammals of Costa Rica, Bats of Costa Rica and Rainforest Plants, among others.

Once a year we also organize the international course "Introduction to Conservation Biology in Latin America". Professors and students from all over Latin America participate in this one week course.
