SELF-GUIDED WALK

Experience the rainforest at your own pace by hiking the trails of the Reserve (9km/5½ mi.). Visit the suspension bridges, check out the island, and observe wildlife for as little or long as you like. At the beginning of the walk, you will receive a site map, which clearly shows the trails and their lengths, as well as important instructions about walking alone. One self-guided tour includes a book of activities that you can request at the reception area before beginning the walk.

The hours of self-guided visits are from 7am–5pm, all days. Reservations are not needed.

Please see FEES for activity costs.

RECOMMENDED SUPPLIES: closed-toed shoes or boots, water, insect repellent, poncho or umbrella, binoculars, flashlight and camera.
