STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP DONATION
| TRC offers a scholarship program for students in grades 7–11 at La Virgen High School, located in the local community adjacent to the Reserve. This program gives many elementary students from low-income families who have shown a dedication to school the opportunity to continue their studies in high school. Since the program was initiated in 2000 there has been overwhelming interest and rapid student growth. |
YOU CAN HELP!
Many scholarships have been provided through the cooperation of U.S. schools that have been interested in helping low-income Costa Rican students excel.
With only $450 per year, you can provide a full scholarship to a high school student at the La Virgen School.
The scholarship includes:
- Lunch for 200 school days
- School uniforms
- Notebooks and textbooks
- Monthly stipend
