The Lodge, which is situated next to the Sarapiquí River and is surrounded by lush gardens, offers three sectors with accommodation so you may choose which one best satisfies your needs according to the purpose of your visit. See rates

Tourism:

Coquette Rooms: 18 rooms with A/C, private bathroom, hot water, Wi-Fi, telephone, radio alarm clock and a small, private terrace with rocking chairs and view of our gardens. Here you may observe a variety of birds, amongst which the elusive and beautiful Black-crested Coquette hummingbird. See Rates

Economical:

Ficus Rooms: 3 quadruple rooms with bunk beds, ceiling fan, private bathroom, hot water and Wi-Fi. This is an excellent, more economical option, without sacrificing on comfort or the quality that characterizes our work. See Rates.

Other services: wireless internet, library, conference room, restaurant, souvenir shop and laundry service.

Additionally: restaurant, souvenir shop, guarded parking, and 24-hour security and relaxation, area with hammocks.

MEALS

The restaurant is a spacious, roofed area, with a natural atmosphere where visitors may relax, watch TV, eat or simply have a cup of coffee. This is a good spot to watch birds whilst trying traditional Costa Rican food. The chef offers a buffet style restaurant service to visitors who make prior reservations at the TRC offices (phone or fax). FIELD STATION

The station is a perfect place for those who would like to be more in touch with nature. It's located at 7km from the center of La Virgen, close to "La Tirimbina", towards the San Ramon de La Virgen sector via an unpaved road that is accessible throughout the year.

The Field Station has two main buildings:

The upper building has five rooms with 2 bunk beds each. There are three shared bathrooms outside, between the rooms.

The lower building is situated about 15m from the upper building and serves as a dining area and kitchen for those staying at either building. The kitchen is fully equipped and the building also has 3 additional rooms and a bathroom. The station can accommodate up to 40 people. Facilities: electricity, meals, telephone (to be used with pre-paid phone cards), Internet (with a pre-paid card) and a classroom amidst a natural environment with electricity provided by solar panels and a generator. Close to the two buildings is a ranch with a roof that is used for various activities such as meetings, conferences, presentations, education and others. See Rates
